Prevailing views about assisted conception and the status of non-traditional families have improved dramatically over the past thirty years. So, when will it get easier to become a parent?

To launch her groundbreaking study, Beyond Expectation: Lesbian / Bi / Queer Women and Assisted Conception (University of Toronto Press), Germany-based author and activist Jacquelyne Luce will deliver a short talk based on her findings. Rachel Epstein, Coordinator of Sherbourne Health Centre’s LGBTQ Parenting Network, will host the evening and moderate a Q&A with the audience.

Doors open at 7 PM. Event begins at 7:30 PM.


Books will be sold at the event by the University of Toronto Bookstore.
