Fact sheet
This fact sheet offers information about reproductive options for trans people interested in
hormone therapy or surgeries. Knowing and discussing reproductive options is a
necessary component of informed consent to transition-related care, and is a significant
component of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health's Standards of
Care for the Health of Transsexual, Transgender, and Gender Nonconforming People (1).
