Why Support SOY?

With your support, we can help the over 250 LGBTQ youth every week that come to SOY for support, guidance and community.

SOY provides tangible support, runs groups, programs and events, and creates opportunities for queer, trans and questioning youth aged 14-29, to build resilience, nurture a sense of identity and belonging and improve health knowledge and access to community resources.

SOY also builds an inclusive, welcoming community together with trusted adults. With over 12 groups, one-to-one mentoring, health care support, and advice on housing, employment and immigration, youth every week are empowered through SOY.

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 in community donations for SOY’s programs and initiatives. We hope you will join us so that, collectively, we can reach our goal and have some fabulous fun while doing it!

Together, we can continue to raise support for the over 250 youth every week who rely on SOY’s groups and one-to-one mentoring to grow, build resilience and confidence and shine brilliantly in our caring community.
